Our taster sessions are aimed to give you a taste of what Mantrailing is all about, your dog will have a minimum of two trails over the workshop, each dog will be worked individually so this is a brilliant sport for any dogs that struggle to be around other dogs, this also means that all dogs must spend time in their car/van so please make sure they are happy with this.
 
Any breed and age welcome on these workshops as well!
 
EQUIPMENT LIST: 
● Harness and Long Line (we have spare long lines) 
● Flat collar and lead
● At least two small plastic containers (should be able to fit in your coat pocket) for your food reward plus extra food to refill them. Good options are hot dogs, cheese and tray-type food, cat food, sardines. Whatever your dog would enjoy. 
● Any toy that motivates your dog.
● Your scent item to leave at the start of the trail. (a pillowcase you have slept on, a hat, gloves are all good items) 
● A zip lock bag to put your scent item in.
● Suitable footwear for rough terrain.
● Waterproofs if needed.
 
Mantrailing is one of the latest fastest growing sports in the UK! It is an exciting new dog sport that teaches you and your dog to search out the 'missing person'. 
 
Following on from the introduction workshop there will be the opportunity to come and regularly train us with, this is charged at £20 per session (your dog gets two trails for this).
 
In order to take part in a Mantrailing Session you will need to complete this form. If we don't have this form completed then you won't be able to attend the session.
